My husband and I ordered afteros. Very good! We visited during dinner on a Friday night. It was pretty busy. I took this as a good sign that many people liked it. The staff was very friendly. We say outside on the terrace. I loved it. As expected with the masses, the food was slow to come. You kept our drinks great. Could have had more chips and salsa waiting. We went to dinner with my parents and sister. My dad decided to try this place again. He and my mother had eaten there a few weeks ago and had a strange experience. This restaurant is a great little mum pop area. It has been part of our community for many years. I wanted to meet with several friends a few nights ago to visit and catch up. We didn't make reservations and the restaurant was pretty crowded. We thought we had to wait long before we were sitting. But when the owner Pepe saw us, he hurried and opened another section and sat down so that we did not have to wait in the cold. I always feel welcome and the food is always good. The chips and salsa are the best!
Been a fan of Los Lupes ever since my mom took my there the first time. Whenever I visit her in St George, we go down to Mesquite for dinner. This time her taco salad wasn't the best, but that's not the norm. Usually it's quite good. My burrito was so delicious. They have the BEST homemade chips and salsa you can find. This time I bought a bag of chips and 32oz of salsa to take home. Mmmm. The service is always very nice and friendly.
We ate here twice this week with friends. Both the service and the food were great. The chips and salsa were fresh, and they did a great job to keep them filled. The food was quick and delicious. We've been digging each other. The employees were kind of idiots about the state prescribed mask restrictions, but I think they're as upset with him as all the others.
