Very very friendly waiter, he was super chatty and most amusing! Made us feel soooo welcomed from the get go! Place is typical of a Spanish restaurant. Situated almost next to the autovia but with ample parking in front. Food was good! Well priced and good portions. Had crispy prawns and Russian salad as starters. Tasty. Mains were pork Schnitzel, entrecote and beef tenderloin. Pepper sauce served on the side. Super tender and tasty. Nothing was dry or overcooked. Definitely recommend this place! They are closed Mondays.

I wasn’t expecting such good food right off the autovía, but Restaurante Los Porches is a memorable, classic Spanish restaurant that serves exceptionally fresh seafood as well as surprisingly delicious beef. My husband had entrecôte that he said was cooked perfectly, and I have the seafood brochette, which was perfect and fresh. We’ve recently bought a place nearby and will make this place a regular spot. The servers are friendly and full of character.

We found Los Porches towards the end of our two weeks in Mijas and wish we had found it earlier. The food was excellent, as was the service. The.menu was extensive, so our one visit just scratched the surface of the possibilities. A bit off the beaten path, but well worth a visit.

We decided to try lunch here and we're not disappointed. The Russian salad was delicious. The fried fish platter was the best I have had in a long time . Service was warm , wine was cold . A really excellent find . Definitely recommend

What a find! Tradional Spanish food. Food was excellent. Couldn’t fault the service as the waiter was so funny and so so attentive. The best cheesecake in the world too!
