A mexican restaurant which clearly has adapted their menu to fulfill expectations of local people. That 's what topic based places usually do in this region and sometimes quality is going down as well not so here, hence the positive surprise. We were 5 people, 3 meat eaters, who were really happy about the tenderness of their meat. However, they didn 't chose typical mexican dishes just the meat and a side dish. The veggie burrito and the veggie tortillas have been excellent. The raw vegetables were really fresh, the cooked ones tasty and well prepared. There was cheese on the burrito. The spice level was adapted to the taste of the locals, so not hot at all, but there were some sauces which helped to boost stuff. The location is nice but it has an acoustic problem: the place was stuffed at 80% of its capacity and people were talking. There is quite some resonance and echoes create the high level noisy blabber. Access is easy via the Bahnhofstraße and it has a view on the Nottekanal a great plus. It took 25 minutes between ordering and getting the main dishes. Which is a good sign for me the cook actually had to cook something on stove. While waiting we enjoyed cocktails and drinks which were really good and not expensive.
