Decided to try this place out after reading an article in LA Times about their chilaquiles and happened to be in the area. I got the chilaquiles with the green sauce and added carnitas and eggs, it was very flavorful, the chips were crisp yet soaked up just enough sauce. It was pretty much perfect and the guy at the window was very nice. I finished the whole thing even though it was more than I should eat in one sitting... Highly recommend.
I was a longtime fan of their restaurant in Hollywood and was excited to learn that they recently opened a takeout window at their kitchen in Mid-City! I’ve ordered food from this location twice now and it’s just as delicious as I remembered. The food is fresh, has fantastic flavors, and it’s prepared with care. I ordered pick-up directly from their website, but they’re on the typical delivery apps as well.
The food was good on the small portion but good. The citrus margarita was not great it was very sour, the mimosas were ok. Service could of have been better by the server. Also if would of been nice if all the order food arrived at the same time, every dish was brought in separately minutes apart.
I had friends visiting from out of town who were staying in Hollywood. I was happy to be able to bring them to a fantastic and affordable Mexican restaurant within walking distance from the Hollywood Highland Center. They enjoyed the food just as much as I did. Reserva una mesa ahora
Best burrito I've ever eaten. Whenever you are in LA, be sure to stop by and get a burrito. It is worth the drive along with their Crazy Salsa Chipotle sauce. So amazing. Looking forward to my visit back to LA so I can eat here again!
We used to adore this restaurant, but something has changed. The service was slow and inattentive, the food was bland, and there was a sewage smell in the front section.
Our server, Noche, was most cordial, engaging, welcoming and knowledgeable. He is one of the reasons we will come back to Loteria
