Four of us visited Barangaroo on a Saturday night without any booking. We tried Lotus because of a friend's recommendation. We luck as we only waited a short before being seated. Service was ok, prices are a little more expensive but on average with prices at other places in Barangaroo. Wines are expensive though so I enjoyed a beer while friends ordered wine by the glass. Food was very good, loved the pork dumplings, calamari Kung pao chicken, but best of all the sweet and sour pork, lovely flavours and best ingredients. Enjoyed the night overall, would go back.
Visited this restaurant today with 3 other people. Ordered around 7- 8 dishes between us and its one of those rare experiences where u cannot say one dish was better than the other, each and every dish was equally brilliant. Great, clean , fresh and unique flavours and in my opinion moderately priced for the quality you get and location. Simply brilliant. The Chefs have done a great job. Looks like theres been a lot of effort put in producing this quality food. will surely recommend.
We were invited to Lotus for a Pooleys Wine lunch, one of the most awesome wines we love from Tasmania.The food was absolutely outstanding and the talented head chef presented quite a few new dishes that he intends to try out for the new spring menu.The highlight was the tea smoked duck but the dessert, for those with a sweet tooth, was pretty sensational as well.The match of food and wine was made in heaven!
eating and service were excellent, but if a few expensive sunglasses we have been taken on the table (table behind a service podium and away from others), there is no other conclusion than they were taken by a coworker. it would be interesting if they have access to video material, but this was not offered as a way to find out what happened to them. good food made a very bad taste!

Decided to check out Barangaroo for a day out. We didn't have a booking but the waitress found us a table in amongst the bustling crowd. Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Three of us shared a few plates and everything was more than delicious. Greta spot and view as it's on the shores of Barangaroo.

My partner & I decided to have lunch at Lotus on a whim. We had planned to eat elsewhere & were in the mood for dumplings, but noticed Lotus when we were exiting the ferry terminal. Great idea! Thoroughly enjoyable experience! Great food, great wine, great staff! Very happy diners!
