As a frequent customer of this eatery, I urge everyone to try them at least once. They have all the usual fare, and it's done wonderfully. Definitely one of my top 5 Chinese food places. If you're into duck, they have it and it's amazing. Also, the Mongolian beef and the Singapore Mai Fun will have you coming back for more.Vegetarian options: They have a number of tofu dishes, as well as traditional vegetable-based dishes that are as tasty as everything else on the menu.Parking: There are a number of small parking lots in the area; make sure to park in the correct lot, or you risk being towed. On street parking is available, but fleeting.
First time customer. Read the menu online and selections appeared fantastic. Ordered beef fried rice, pork dumplings and wonton/egg drop soup. This was the worse Chinese food I 've ever eaten. Greasy, tasteless food. Whatever meat that was in the fried rice was definitely NOT beef. I literally picked the beef out of the rice in order to eat the rice. Flavorless soup. At a price of $25, it was not worth the money. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Honestly the best Chinese take out place in the area. Prior to the pandemic, they had some dishes that you can only get in New York Chinatown. Now it looks like they pared down the menu and only do the common Americanized Chinese food items. But they do it well. If you were to get a shrimp lo mein from TS Ma or Hunan Taste in Montclair, and compare it to the shrimp lo mein at Lotus Oriental, it'll pretty much be the same, only LO will be a lot cheaper.
Asian dishes are big on cooking with soy sauce. At this place I’m guessing that they are trying to save on soy sauce which can be pretty expensive. My fried rice and lo mein were cooked with barely any soy sauce. The fried rice looked white and had no taste and the lo mein noodles were white and had no taste. Not sure how they get by with this.

Absolutely delicious! The best I've ever had! Freshest ingredients! Always consistent. I highly recommend! Update: the last time I ordered they no longer have the ribs (which were great) and the rest of the meal was OK. I was disappointed.
I found a hair in my food, but I suppose that can happen sometimes. The food is delicious and undoubtedly the best in town. I’m just a bit puzzled by the constantly changing prices. Aside from that, it’s really great Chinese food.
This has been my favorite takeout restaurant for more than 15 years. I appreciate how clean they keep everything. They serve the best chicken wings and lo mein. The family that owns the place is incredibly friendly.
This place is awesome Take-out. Extremely clean, and the food is fantastic. I see why they have 4-5 stars.. Great Jobs.

This is some of the cleanest Chinese food I've had in a long time. The only drawback is that they don't offer delivery.
