Lotus Thai Restaurant

After seeing good reviews for this restaurant I booked a table for 6people at 6 o’clock on Saturday 19th September as we were going to a show in Wanneroo that started at 7.30 which we thought would be plenty of time.We arrived at 5.50 and around 6.10 we managed to order.As time was passing and there was no sign of the food (we did notice that customers who arrived after us were being served we asked about our food and were told it was coming soon.As we would have to eat and leave the restaurant by7.15 at 645 we decided to ask for the meals to be put in containers and we would pay and have them later we were told that would be ready in 5mins however by 7oclock there was still no sign of our f...

Shared several dishes on Saturday night,cold rainy weather,but we got warmed up wth our choices.The food had mental sharpness without blasting our heads off!The bite of garlic without the chilli was just right for us who do not like or cannot take chilli.Vegies were of strong cardamom with turmeric undertones,and one of the dishes was delightful tasting of coconut,yum.Maybe the food could of been warmer as it soon went cold.Thought it was funny when my new Thai friend ordered but the waitress said she was not Thai.Maybe a little expensive,though all food tasted good.

My husband and I were there on Saturday night 7/3/20. I wanted the new dish the Barramundi which was on their menu only to find out they had't got it. Decided on sizzling Seafood without the mussels. The dish came but it wasn't sizzling the boy waiter said Chef says this is how it comes. There were 3 prawns and some chewy pieces of squid for $21.90?? The boy waiter asked if I enjoyed it and I said no I didn't. My husband paid and when I looked at the docket they had charged $22.90 for my meal. What a RIP OFF this place is. My suggestion is DON'T GO.

We go every fortnight with a group of people for lunch. Not many there at lunch but the evening’s are quite full with diners. Seafood disHes are especially nice here. Spiced to how you like. I’m not into hot food but no. 47 on the menu is just the ticket. Enjoyed every time I’ve been. BYO is reasonable charge.

Best Thai food. Great service and lovely staff. Never had a bad meal in 17 years. Satay chicken entree. Chicken stir fry and pork fried rice. Yummy .
