I waited over an hour for a takeout burger and fries at Louie. Although I arrived on time, I had to wait 10 minutes before the bartender checked on my order with the kitchen. After 30 more minutes, my food was finally ready. It felt like they had forgotten about my order, which was surprising given how slow the Wednesday night was. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of apology or any acknowledgment from the staff. Mistakes happen, but it’s essential to take responsibility and keep customers informed. I was very disappointed with the service and won’t be coming back to Louie.
I am consistently impressed by the service, food, drinks, and overall atmosphere at Bar Louis. Situated in a mall, I'm often pleasantly surprised by how busy it is, filled with friendly faces. The food is delicious (I highly recommend the chicken nachos) and the drinks are excellent. The service is outstanding—last night, a lovely young lady served our table and did a fantastic job. Moreover, the manager checked in with us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely make it a point to visit more often, especially since they have great happy hour specials!
I visited Louie at 11 AM since it was conveniently close to the theater where my movie started at 11:50. The restaurant was almost empty, with only three other customers, making it seem like a great place to quickly grab some chicken wings before the show. I ordered before 11:10, but my food took around 25 to 30 minutes to arrive. Because of the long wait, I ended up eating in my car.
Christian is the best bartender I've ever met! He's attentive, full of energy, and truly made my experience unforgettable. His service is quick, and he knows how to craft fantastic drinks. I would absolutely consider him for any bartending position. I've officially become a regular customer thanks to him!

Visited Louie on a Thursday night and had to wait a bit before a server attended to us. Once Meghann took our table, everything was fantastic. Our drinks were always refilled, and she was very kind. We had a wonderful evening and would definitely return!
This place had a unique vibe compared to other restaurants I've been to in Novi or Dearborn. I noticed some tables with chalk writings on them, and I'm not sure if I missed something special about that...
The kitchen is extremely unsanitary, and the servers display rude and racist behavior. The handling of the food is concerning, as they don’t seem to wash their hands properly and even eat near customers.
This restaurant is just down the road from us, making it a convenient spot for a quick bite and a decent drink. We always prefer to sit at the bar. We've never had a bad experience there...
