The atmosphere reminded me of a CTA bus stop. It wasn't solely due to the loud woman in a bathrobe at the bar, who was obnoxiously shouting on her phone and at the staff for at least ten minutes. The female server behind the bar tonigh does not want money slow service I sat there for exactly 25 minutes and they never asked for our orders at the bar! She said wait on the other server he is on break he should be back soon after I told her we were there 20 minutes. And when we first got there asked for water and never received it! Went here as a last minute decision. Have never been to this Bar Louie and don't see any reason to go back. Walked in and it's an outdated atmosphere, service was not great as there were six of us and they forgot one person's food completely. Waitress didn't even notice and we thought maybe it's just behind a minute but a few minutes later we reminded the waitress and then they made it. Five years ago we came to Oakbrook for Christmas shopping on Thanksgiving only to find almost every restaurant closed, but not Bar Louie. It has become our annual tradition ever since to go there for our evening meal. The service is excellent and super friendly and to boot the bar food is awewome. Not trying to give away our families little secret, but wanted to give the staff a shout out.

Went here to have a drink on a Saturday night. There were two birthday parties. Good vibes, good food, some drinks okay, slot machines. Definitely a must if your staying at the hotel. Ordered hot wings, loaded fries, pitcher of pineapple sangria, hellacious mango margarita this drink was spicy and hot I didn’t like at all. I recommend this place!
The restaurant needs renovation yesterday. They're out of stock on half their items and they desperately need a new cook. Extremely average food. In this area, it should be the last place you should go to.
Mixed experience. Very friendly service and they tried hard. Calamari wasn’t great. Boneless wings were pretty small. The steak sandwich was tasty. The chicken Parmesan sandwich looked amazing too.
This is an older Bar Louie that could use some updates to its decor. They have about three gambling machines if you're interested. The burger was quite tasty, but the service was just average.

It is nicely located inside of a holiday inn. Also, car rental on site during the day if needed.
