Not sure what the problem is here. The guy at the door acts like he is absolutely stoned and had no clue what was going on. We stopped earlier to try to get on the list and he said we could not do that and made a comment that people on vacation don’t care about what day it is… after that, he continued to tell us we could not stand places, part of our group was offered to order at the “bar”, but then he came straight to me to act like I did something wrong. The last time we ate here was five years ago and it was exactly how we remembered it, delicious! The place was packed on a Sunday morning but, they still got us seated in about 15 mins. The food was served quickly, which was helpful since we had two hungry toddlers. The artwork on the walls helps bring the charm to this place, and it's for sale if anyone's interested. No trip to Whitefish is complete without stopping at Loula's Cafe!
Staff are excellent, place is cute and food is good. Our table had sandwiches, cobb salad, and the lemon french toast. Lemon french toast is amazing! Fruit pie has excellent flavor but RAZOR-THIN crusts soggy bottom. Too bad, good pies have a nice layer of crust, so it doesn't feel like you are eating jam. Because of the crust, pie was disappointing.
Cannot complain about the food. We got the lemon stuffed French toast and breakfast burrito. Both excellent. We waited an hour and to get in, and then waited 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. Our waitress felt sorry though and sent us home with some pie on the house which was really nice.

All pies are good. The huckleberry peach pie at Loula’s is truly perfection. The best pie I have ever had. Awesome crust. Peaches not overcooked. Huckleberries add a little zing. (Lunch was also great and worth the wait).
Fresh and flavorful ingredients in our breakfasts, yummy baked goods, great coffee and nice server!! What more can you ask for! …well, maybe more healthy/vegetarian options :
Great food! This place is busy and there's a wait to get in. Regardless, the food is fantastic and we'll definitely come back our next time we come through Whitefish.
Food was delicious, large servings and reasonable price. Service was excellent, all employees were very friendly.
