Lounders Boatshed Cafe

What happens when the food is so delicious? You forget to take a picture of it! This charming spot, located by the waterway next to the Adelaide Oval and the University of Adelaide, became our go-to place for desserts after lunch. We loved the ice creams and gelatos here, as well as the coffee! We've tried some pies and cakes during our visits, but everything was so delightful that we couldn't focus on memorizing the names of the dishes. What a beautiful setting for this cute little cafe. Right on the waterway I was able to relax with one of my best flat whites so far in Adelaide. No double shot needed coffee was rich full bodied without. Great apple muffins (They had a lot of healthy oats in them hardly any sugar copious amounts of apple chunks) to ruin my mornings workout at the gym, but hey it's Xmas almost!!

Fantastic location, and the food and coffee was top notch too! The egg and bacon brioche was delicious, so much flavour and cooked to perfection while the coffee was just right the temperature and nailed it. Grab yourself a seat out overlooking the torrens and enjoy, you wont be disappointed.

Portuguese chicken burger and sweet potato fries were delicious. Staff were very lovely and helpful. Coffee was smooth. Kid friendly with toddlers. Heating on premises. Food came out quickly. Great local business. Would recommend making a booking for over 4 people. Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing position. Delightful staff. Great food. You could not find any fault with this restaurant. Sat outside and enjoyed the passing riverside parade of families, joggers and puppies. Right on the bank of the Torrens river. Perfect way to start a Sunday.

Came on Sunday for lunch with my partner and I must say they serve good food here, coffee is great but we did wait for two cups of coffee, maybe it was a young one being trained for coffee. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view

A great little casual cafe on the banks of the beautiful River Torrens. Great view and a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of casual menu choices that cater for mant dietary requirements. We sat outside undercover. Rest room facilities are located on site.

I absolutely love this beautiful café, and we've visited several times since we found it. The food, atmosphere, and service are all excellent. It’s conveniently located right in the CBD, making it easy to get to. The brunch was fantastic! Reserva una mesa ahora

Coffee had strength good flavour but a huge amount of foam on the flat whites. Best thing about this cafe is that it is situated right on the Torrens River

The view of the river is beautiful, but there were quite a few flies buzzing around.
