if lounge bohemia hadn't been so cold and we hadn't been forgotten about several times in the whole night, I might have given this the full five stars. not only are the drinks good (and reasonably expensive), but it would get additional points for such an individual bar. I was expecting the usual underground performance. what a cool place! I went to this talkeasy bar for my birthday and it was a real surprise. it is pretty well hidden next to the door to an ethnic restaurant. a small door brings them down where they find a 60s-ost European style (bohemian, as the name says) space. the menu is presented in Czech books and the cocktails are wonderfully presented by a beautiful Chinese dressed girl (yes: chinese bohemian does not seem to make really sense, but believe me it does. or at least it feels like you're in a Tarantino movie or something that goes for a molecular drink. not only they are good, but the best is how they are presented. I knew that lounge bohemia had been a good time and I knew that I would not be as impressed as I might have been, I would not have visited so many ‘speakeasy’ style bars. for that I assumed that lounge bohemia would be – it has an unnoticed entry, they must be a booking by phone etc., all very underground drink it. but I was right. under the floor it is, but not in ban style. This is one of the quirkiest bar in whole of London. I happened to make a reservation for me and my wife, and we were escorted to our table as soon as we arrived. The place is pretty dimly lit and the decor is very well done as well. Most of the cocktails that we tried tasted amazing, and the one which I found to be the best is the Sex on the beach. I would love to visit this place again and would suggest all my friends to visit it as well.
If you are looking for a place that has an amazing ambiance, a brilliant vibe and serves amazing food then this is the place to be. Wide variety of dishes to choose from and the pricing is reasonable enough. The food is excellent value for money. The staff is very well trained and well coordinated. I would recommend their Iced Tea and Martini. Strongly recommended.
I am so grateful for my niece that I have booked this place for a family. I loved the way the cocktails were served. the concept behind each of the drinks we ordered was unique and the fact that the server introduced the story behind each of them was just so much fun. it was a good night spent. I had a pleasant time and enjoyed myself very much. I'll visit again.
There is just one drawback of this place that it is located underground and cannot be easily reached and therefore a lot of people tend to miss out on this place. On a friend's recommendation I had visited this place and this place is amazing. Its a tiny space but possesses a very cute decor and a very friendly staff. Definitely worth giving a shot.
I am a loyal customer of this restaurant and have been frequenting this place for years now. The owner is just so creative. He keeps experimenting with the drinks that are being offered. He makes sure that there is a personal touch while dealing with each of the customers. I loved the fries and the Berries on the go' cocktail that I ordered.
I happened to visit this place during my vacation to London last month, and had a nice time with family. We booked the place in advance and thus didn't have to wait for long before getting a table. The atmosphere of the place was pleasant and the drinks were totally worth it. It was a nice overall experience.
