I'm sorry but I did not see what was so great about Lulu's. I had the Florentine Benedict with Ham. It was so salty it was almost inedible. Also the home fries on the side were extremely salty. The cocktail was fine. A lavender mimosa for Mother's Day, but nothing special. The service was good and they modified my friends meal to her requests, which we appreciated. Anyway, with all the hype Lulu's gets I expected to be wowed and it was meh.
Big disappointment based on other reviews. “Homemade biscuits” were tough and we couldn't even cut them. Potatoes were so spicy , they were hard to eat. Waitress was sweet, but the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other or her. Overall, we won't be returning. The only thing we enjoyed was the bacon.
Lulus was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the unique art added a great touch. The staff was amazing and very friendly. Our group of five, which included college students and their parents, found something to enjoy on the menu. We can't wait to return! Definitely make a reservation!
The noise level in the restaurant was excessively high; the music was booming, making it necessary to shout just to have a conversation at our table. Had a reservation for a party of 8. We were seated on time. Complementary shot for the birthday girl. Food was excellent. Service was great. Don't recommend the mimosa pitcher though. Ordered the Brazilian. Tasted like a non-alcoholic drink but priced otherwise.
Drove over a hour to dine here and it proved well worth the drive. We have plenty of wonderful places to eat in our local area but it's so nice to experience a location like LuLu's on a quiet weekend. Really enjoyed the great food and friendly service there.
Highly recommend making a reservation. I made a reservation for two for Sunday brunch. We were able to bypass the long line of guests. Great drink and menu selection. Service was good. Our food was good. I'd recommend to those coming to the RVA area.
This was my second visit to Lulu's. Our waiter, Kareem, was very attentive, friendly and professional. He even brought my friends a special birthday gift as we were celebrating her birthday at Lulu's! Great service. Would dine here again. Reserva una mesa ahora
Food was delicious. Got the corn beefed hash and the Atlantic omelette and both were outstanding. We ended up sitting at the bar and the bartender was literally one of the best I've had in Richmond. Can't wait to go back

"Best Hot Dog I've had since i left NYC. Fat, juicy and perfectly spiced. Amazing Sauerkraut as well. Chicken grilled pita and another chicken sandwich were outstanding. Really good meal enjoyed by all."
