We wanted a mom and pop Italian experience, this was not it. Frank Sinatra playing in the restaurant, over shadowed by techno from the kitchen. It was a mad dash it get us out of there by the servers and the chairs and tables are crammed so close together. Was all of the different options around, I will try one of those before returning to Lucia 
A downstairs table in the middle of the restaurant constantly bumped into by waitstaff. Waiter was also bartending and quite inattentive. Chicken Parm was all breading no bird. The sole of my shoe with mozzarella and sauce would have been more tender. My wife's pasta dish was delicious I've loved this restaurant in the past, maybe an off night.
We came here for dinner before the Cambridge half and it was amazing. The ambiance was great. The food was so good. The gen manager spoke to us because he recognized our Harvard clothing (he and I are both alums) and was extraordinary and so kind. We will 100% be returning and recommending to anyone who needs great pasta, vibes, and experience

Glorious chicken parmigiana and fresh mozzarella hors d'oeuvres. I will return to Lucia when I'm next in Boston!
The hidden gem of the north end. All the quality ambience and service without paying exorbitant prices.
