The service at Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ was outstanding—I couldn’t have asked for better. Sadly, the food didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered the half chicken, and while I know smoked chicken often has a pink tint, mine was undercooked, even though I usually prefer my chicken fully cooked. Some might like it that way, though. My niece had the Monte Cristo, which featured a fried chicken-style breading instead of the traditional egg batter, resulting in a taste more like fried chicken. We used to visit this restaurant frequently when my daughter worked here during her school days. Unfortunately, it didn't measure up to my memories. The biscuits were decent but drier and more crumbly than I remembered. The baby back ribs, on the other hand, were quite good—moist, tender, and bursting with flavor. If they sourced their ribs from Costco, they'd be meatier and truly excellent. My wife enjoyed the tri-tip, but I found the meat to be on the dry side, though still very flavorful. The vegetable medley and mashed potatoes were nice accompaniments to the meat dishes.
This was our first visit to Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I had the pulled pork sandwich with macaroni and cheese—the mac and cheese was absolutely incredible, and the sandwich was delicious! We also tried the tri-tip salad, which was fantastic. And I almost forgot the biscuits—you have to try the biscuits! I was even dreaming about them last night. Our waiter, I believe his name was Nick, was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning!
I find it frustrating to spend too much on food, especially when the barbecue and steak I had could have easily been much better if I made them at home with minimal effort. It also annoys me when I'm told my child ordered something he didn't, especially since I clearly heard him say otherwise. Lucille's managed to check all three of these boxes in one visit. While it wasn't terrible, it certainly wasn't great either, and I felt it was way overpriced for the quality we received.

My favorite is Lucille’s happy hour! They have the best chicken sandwich and beers happy hour. Also, it’s open late M-F until 7pm. So it’s perfect if you worked all day and still want to go out somewhere and get a deal
Got sick after eating their ribs. Maybe a bad day but it wasn 't pleasant. But, the staff were super kind and patient with me wanting to check if everything was in my order, before I left.
Had a great Thanksgiving at Lucille's. Seated on time, fast service and great food!
