Lucio's BYOB Grill

We had the smoked duck and the filet mignon. Both were amazing! The duck had a nice sear on the breast to give it a nice pop. The filet was a little heavy on the pepper for our taste but it was still cooked to butter perfection. The filet also came with stacked potatoes that had blue cheese cooked in. She normally does not eat blue cheese since she is slightly allergic but think these did not affect her because she was already taking an allergy med for the hotel. It would ha e been nice to know it contained blue cheese ahead of time but was not a big deal and she said they were good and creamy! We also decided to get the bread pudding since my wife loves this dessert. The flavor was amazing...

Our Valentine dinner was lovely, sea bass on a bed of risotto was done perfect although it would have been nice to have a bit of veg. The short ribs were a good choice. BYO is a plus for those of us who have a cellar and can enjoy a favorite bottle. Although the restaurant wasn’t anything fancy the service was well done. I would not hesitate to recommend friends to dine at Lucio’s and look forward to our next visit.

This is Our favorite Restaurant and what we consider our Special Place. The Owner and his Wife are the most humble and gracious Hosts and the food is fantastic. Are there Houston Restaurants equal to Lucio's, no doubt, but the Owner and his wife make this so much more than the rest.

Lucio’s was a quiet intimate dinner for my boyfriend and I. The service and food was top tier and outstanding. We will definitely be back for another visit.
