This has been my New regular chinese after the one on my doorsteps food became so oily I could not eat it now from the outside I have to be honest I would not look at this place and think ooh I have to try that but I took a gamble on this place OMG am I glad I did the food is amazing, the staff are really friendly and the place is SPOTLESS. I have recommended this place to all of my friends in the area who all had the same sort of opinion on the o/s but they are so impressed too and are now regulars with the best Salt Pepper Prawns and Chicken, Shredded Beef and all Noodles/Rice dishes are delicious give it a go you will NOT be disappointed. I have dined at this restaurant several times and I highly recommend the house special fried rice - it is delicious. The prawn balls are some of the best I have ever tried (and I have 35 years of experience in enjoying these tasty little treats). Tonight, I decided to try another favorite dish, the Szechwan Pork, and it was hands down the best I have ever had. The pork slices were thick, chunky, and perfectly seasoned. Overall, Lucky 5 is a cut above the usual dining experience. I am so full and satisfied that I need a nap. Great job, Lucky 5!

Had a delivery and the food was disgusting the duck was not crispy or cooked properly, the sweet and sour chicken balls were hard Inside but give them a squeeze and the amount of oil was ridiculous. Ribs were dry and the sauce had grease in it. Not impressed at all. When spoke to them they were not bothered one bit. Very rude and unhelpful. Thank you to Janet and team. Mike and I had a wonderful meal delivered in extra quick time. Portion sizes are generous, and there was plenty left over for lunch the following day. Dry honey ribs were delicious, and the Nasi Goreng was nicely chilified I don't normally like chili and was delicious. Never had a bad meal and always consistent. Lovely people and very efficient. Thank you.
The staff is friendly and the food is consistently well-cooked. It would be convenient to have the option to order online, as the phone lines are often busy and may require multiple attempts to get through. I have noticed that the dishes have more vegetables than meat lately. Despite that, it is still a fantastic takeaway option with delicious food.
Felt I had to post another review for this place after the last negative review, Been my local now for a year and still the best around, And believe me I’ve tried every Chinese takeaway in the Epsom ewell area. Arrived quick and food was bang on as usual, always a clean non greasy Chinese and great service as always. I’m sure all you regulars agree.
