This was our first visit to this restaurant after hearing so many positive things about it, but unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. I ordered the vegetable pad thai, and to my surprise, there were no vegetables at all! It was simply a lemon wedge, noodles, and peanuts—very disappointing! The sauce was rather bland as well. My husband ordered the C2 and found the beef to be slimy, the chicken's breading excessively thick, and his dish lacked flavor altogether. I can't recommend this place. This restaurant has received mixed reviews, but my experience has always been positive when it comes to their food. The dishes are delicious, and the portion sizes are quite generous. I ordered the C#2, which was definitely worth the price. However, I did try their lunch special, chicken suey, and was disappointed to find that it had only one or two pieces of chicken. Despite that, the overall quality of their food is impressive.

Fresh, flavorful, and boasting an impressive variety of dishes to please every taste, this restaurant is a true delight. The takeout is exceptionally delicious, with hot meals loaded with vibrant vegetables. Lucky Dragon is genuinely a hidden gem in Welland! You must try the red curry chicken, the beef curry pad Thai, and combo C2—they're simply exceptional!

This time, I was really disappointed with this restaurant. We've ordered from here before and always had a great experience, but since it had been a while since our last order, I noticed a significant drop in quality. If there were an option for zero stars, I would definitely select it. The food was tasteless; I ordered three different dishes, and all of them had a strong pepper flavor and low-quality meat. It was exceedingly overpriced for what I got, and overall, it was a dreadful experience!

On a positive note, my friend asked for a refund, something I hadn't considered since I didn't think they would honor it based on the reviews. However, they processed the refund without any issues and were very polite about it, which I really appreciate.

The Chicken Lo Mein (thin noodles) definitely deserves a strong 5 stars. On the other hand, the Hot and Sour soup falls flat with a mere 1 star. The only flavor that really stood out in the soup was from the mushrooms!
