Ordered at 6pm for an eta of 07:20pm, started having to raise called at 07:40pm after non-arrival. seems phone tends to be diverted to answerphone when busy, or shop wants to ignore calls due to delays.. Finally got through at 08:10pm to be advised that we had had our delivery. when requestioning the address, they asked the driver who advised he left it in our back garden by the rear door, NOT AT THE FRONT DOOR AS REQUESTED, DIDN'T KNOCK NOR USE THE BELL. checking camera it appears this was dropped off at 07:45pm, but by time of finding the package food temperature via digital thermometer was reading at 20.6. Me and my family ordered food last night and it came to £30.40. Before it had turned up I had a phone call saying they had forgot to take out the veg from the chicken chow mein. Which I specifically asked for as my son and brother have additional needs and hates the veg. Got told I could have £3 off as it was their mistake. When it was delivered it was the same price and there was veg on the chicken chow mein not only that but mine and my sons chilli salt and pepper chicken was not in there instead replaced with chilli salt and pepper chips. Asked for a mild chicken n mushroom curry recieved a spicy as hell without mushroom curry. Asked for crispy chicken salt n pepper recieved soggy chewy none crispy chicken in soft doughy undercooked batter with a slither of chewy chicken inside on a sauce i didnt ask for as old ordered my own. Prawn crackers were just crackers without the prawn. Best thing was the cold prawn toast shame they dont send more slices. Rice and noodles were ok abit cold but edible unlike the rest of the rubbish that got threw in the bin. What a waste of £23 our own fault theres a reason collection takes 10 minutes never again.

We called upon lucky star after we waited 3 hours from another Chinese which never turned up! It was 23:10 and they offered to deliver to us too, which was great as we thought it would be too late. They arrived on time with hot food and it was delicious. The only bug bear was they don’t do crispy seaweed! But other than that; genuinely impressed. Thanks guys! If you don’t mind waiting two and a half hours for your food then this is the place for you. I tried to ring them 55 times to find out if my food was coming but never got through to them. Food eventually turned up but only after I had re-ordered from four seasons which arrived sooner, and was better. I have been told I will receive a refund but only after many emails.

We ordered 2 king prawn dishes. Both were amazing very tasty and plenty prawns in both meals. We have recently moved into the area.This is our fourth meal from Lucky Star and could not fault any part of our meals. Would highly recommend.

1st Saturday of the month, we've been having our treat, and the food and service from here has always been fantastic. Tasty and hot meals delivered when they promised. We'll keep using this place as it's the best around.

Possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted, food was bland,cold and looked like it was cooked last week. Not to mention the delivery was late by 45 min. Won't use again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Last 2 meals there's been no taste to the curry and chips are like eating rock! Doubt I'll be using again!
