I loved the lighting and ambiance. Drinks and food came really fast. Everyone was friendly. I had the shrimp and grits . It was okay not the best I've had for $26. Not enough Grits and they tasted very grainy and was overwhelmed by the roux . Portionswere really small. If i were on a diet they would have been perfect. I wish I had tried the steak. my friends who orderedSteak seemed to be satisfied. However my co worker that also ordered the Shrimp and grits felt the same way. We were still alittle hungry afterwards . The deviled eggs were good but you only get 2 eggs and the Brussel sprouts were just a wee bit overcooked more than I would prefer. Oh wow, I'm surprised to see such a low star rating (at the time of this review). I've eaten here before and it's always been good. This time came for lunch and ordered the lobster roll. I do not usually order lobster rolls unless I'm in Maine becauseI'm always disappointed (even disappointed in Maine sometimes). My favorite is from Red's Eats and that's kind of my goldstandard. The roll here was amazing. The lobster was delicious, soft and cooked to perfection. The roll it was on was also softand perfectly toasted. I will definitely be back to get another sonetime! Our server was also super sweet and food came outquickly.
As a longtime Brentwood resident, I can say Ludlow Prime is one of the best happy hour spots in the area. I've visited three times in July, and the food has always been fresh, flavorful, and served promptly. For the best experience, I highly recommend sitting at the bar, where the attentive staff regularly check in on guests to ensure everyone is happy and that all happy hour food and drink orders are fulfilled. I truly love Ludlow Prime. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews—this is coming from someone who has lived here for 40 years. It’s a fantastic place!
As a local, this is one of the finest happy hour spots in all of Brentwood. I’ve dined here three times already in July and the food always arrives in a timely manner that’s fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend sitting at the bar for the ultimateexperience as the staff is constantly walking by checking on guests to ensure happiness and they have gotten in all of the HappyHour orders for food and beverage in. I love Ludlow and Prime. Ignore the wacky reviews some have left and listen to someone whohas lived here for 40 years. Great spot!

We came in with a group and despite a low staff level a problem everywhere these days! our server was pleasant and did a great job. Our drinks were well done and the food was delicious. We enjoyed crab cakes and shrimp and more as appetizers followed by some excellent steaks all cooked just as ordered. I had the mashed potatoes, but others were raving over the truffle Mac n cheese. The chocolate lava cakes for dessert were a great finish to the night. Thank You!
I stopped by Ludlow Prime for lunch yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Hope was fantastic and made excellent margaritas! I really enjoyed the $1 oysters during Happy Hour. The brisket slider was good, though nothing extraordinary. The crusted fish hush puppies were outstanding! The salmon deviled eggs came highly recommended and did not disappoint. All of this for just $40. I’m excited to come back and try the dinner menu.
The food at Ludlow Prime was absolutely delicious! The truffle mac and cheese was the best I've ever tasted. My filet was fantastic, and the dessert lived up to expectations. Our server was very friendly, and the manager kindly informed us that the food might take a bit longer due to staffing shortages—which is understandable these days. It was actually nice to take our time and truly enjoy a wonderful evening with friends.
I'm glad we decided to visit despite the many negative reviews. The staff were attentive and friendly. While the cocktails were just okay, the food was excellent. The Brussels sprout appetizer was particularly crispy and flavorful, enhanced by the bacon. The blackened salmon in our salads tasted very fresh. Be aware that it can get quite smoky inside, which caused my eyes to burn toward the end of our meal.

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and had an enjoyable experience. Hope was great and made me good margaritas! I loved the $1 oyster during happy hour. The brisket sliders were nothing special but good. The crawfish hush puppies were amazing! The deviledeggs topped with salmon were to die for(strongly recommend). And yes I got all this for under $40. I can’t wait to return andtry the dinner menu.
