It's surprising Ludwig's does not have higher ratings. The entirety of our meal unfolded without fault and all of us (15) were crazy about our meals and dessert. To start the Norwegian salmon plate met some raised eyebrows how is that possible all the way down South? Our doubts were cleared the second they came out absolutely delicious! The fish is fresh and the ingredients offer a refreshing approach to the classic fish lemon froth texture over the conventional squeezed lemon juice. Finally, dessert. A wonderful surprise !! Came late evening to Tübingen only to realize all stores closed at 7pm. This little gem beckoned us and in we went. Menu had soup salad enters BUT it had a surprise option of 3-5 courses (price based on course). Waitress asked if we were allergic to anything and whether we wanted meat or fish (if you do not eat pork or beef inform them). Drinks do not come with the courses ! What ensued was a good collection of food. We opted for three courses: starter, entree (stuffed chicken atop quinoa risotto) and dessert (brownie, chocolate crumble cake, ice cream) and polished it off with cafe. Overpriced and insufficient tastes. The breakfast plates (yes all of them) are small, don't taste that good and are expensive. The chai latte was the worst I've ever had. The food isn't great either, had Maultaschen once which were a total disappointment in terms of taste. The service and the interior design are the only good things about this place, thus 2 stars. After 3 visits, I decided to review this place and also not to visit again. Edit: serious review, will contact you.

we eat here almost every day on our week trips. everyone is great. one of the traveling has brain cancer and it is very hard to find a place to eat. Many thanks to the fact that ludwig always makes us feel at home without the guest dietary restriction feeling like a failure. Reserva una mesa ahora

I sat here for breakfast. very nice and friendly service! eating was very good at a reasonable price and the coffee was great. also good atmosphere and a beautiful view with all glass walls. very busy at the weekend morning so a reservation is recommended!

I liked the Schnitzel here, tasty and the portion is big! Cocktails are also yummy. One downside, prices.
