9 July 2017. Incredibly beautiful day on the square with live music. My husband and I wanted to eat from an angle that allowed us to see the square, enjoy the music but also be able to hear each other talk . The Chef came out personally as the day was just getting started and the first person to greet us did not speak very much English . He put us at ease went over the German menu and gave us some time together. The next arrival was a gentleman who was at ease with English and other languages. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with fresh salads, Steak and fried potatoes for myself and snitzel breaded to perfection with rhum sauce chanterelle mushrooms and steak fries. Great service, presentation...
for repeated painting excellent. on the terrace with a good glass grayburgunder a rumpsteak from the grill with pfifferlingen in cream and delicious bratkartoffeln. wonderfully the view of the marketplace with its many old buildings.The service as always is sovereign and extremely warm. the chef himself at the grill and the chef of the house always present. the prices are moderate to the high quality of the feeds. we are looking forward to the next visit.
here I have been more often because the new owner has done a lot to bring this restaurant to life again(. many have been renovated)the staff very friendly and attentive. the food - from pizza (very good) to all others offered, inexpensive and very good.The terrace is unbeatable. with beautiful weather it is a pleasure to look up at the Rathausplatz.Always worth a visit.
We visited this restaurant at 4pm on a rainy day. There was only one other table being served while we were there. It's beautiful inside and the service was good. We had a caprese salad which was good, the cheese was a bit mushy. We also had a pizza with was also good but soggy in the center. Over all a nice place to stop for a rest and nice atmosphere.

very good and rich food, excellent fresh of the ingredients and beautifully dressed. service very friendly, good wein recommendation and the whole too really moderate preisen. clear recommendation, also due to the great location and the very appealing and modern facility. outdoor terrace with beautiful weather with views over the country market place.
a top restaurant with very attentive service. allergic, vegetarian and vegan find here in any case a great selection of delicious foods. Special requests are received without delay. together with the beautiful view from the terrace a completely successful evening.
great on the marketplace with a super tasty lunch card that looks like it. pfälzer specialties or Mediterranean cuisine - no matter - and, the services are very courteous, great wine selection to moderate trips.
the luitpold is a great local directly on the landau market place. you can drink something below and eat wonderfully on the balcony or in the restaurant.

we have fed up on the upheaval and had the spot quite well in sight. we got an impression of landau. the food was good, the service friendly.
....we were having with mei ne families today off on Saturday at luitpol we ate grill was very tasty.we always like to come.danke
