We walked to this restaurant from NH Hotel and found just what we were looking for! It seemed to be a family run, one of a kind cozy restaurant with good traditional German food. It is obviously a favorite local place as it was filled and everyone knew one another. There were no English menus (a good sign) but waitress spoke perfect English. She was very helpful and kind. My husband and I each had a .5 L beer and a wonderful mixed salad. I had the small schnitzel with mushrooms and cream gravy and french fries. He had goulash with roasted potatoes. No room for dessert. The bill was under 20 euro. We may have to fly thru Frankfurt on our next trip to Europe just to go back!

This authentic German restaurant serves simple yet delicious meals at very reasonable prices. It sits in an unassuming building at the intersection of two reasonably busy roads, so you could easily overlook it, but the interior of the restaurant is nice and the outdoor Biergarten is surprisingly large, full of trees, and secluded from the roads. The menu offers a wide range of salads, soups, meats and, of course, schnitzles. The beer prices are quite reasonable. The servers tolerated my abysmal German (and one spoke very good English). I was very pleased and pleasantly surprised. There also are rooms, as this is a pension, too, but I did not see them.

I had the little carving with mushrooms and sawn engraving and ridden. he had goulash with roasted potato. no place for dessert. the bill was below 20 euro. we may have to fly the francfurter on our next trip to europa to go back!

this restaurant is so cheap and has an extensive menu. but the best is when they are there when it is economical season! they have a great asparagus menu. they also have a very cheap lunch menu. with beautiful weather they can sit outside. her inner atmosphere is cozy. the staff has been there for years and is friendly and efficient! This restaurant is so reasonably price and has quite an extensive menu. But the best is if you are there when it is "spargel" season! They have a great spargel menu. They also have a very cheap set lunch menu. in nice weather you can...More

amazing service and eating! but we flew out in the morning and used our euro, so we were short on cash and they don't take credit cards! highly recommended for excellent German foods and drinks.

Old fashioned german Restaurant, with excellent Food like from your mother... You should try "Cordon Bleu" or Rumpsteak! Very famous for their asparagus meals

It's a short drive from the Holiday Inn Express. Great German food and ambience. So good we went there three times. Reasonable prices too.
