This is the worst cake shop I 've ever been, with the worst experience I 've ever had. Designer herself is being impatient, the boss, I think , a little older white gentleman who insults customers in their understanding of the description displayed and raising his voice saying that what do you want? We have been talking for an hour. Which is just about 10 mins our conversation. Very impatient and bad customer service. Although they may make good cakes, great design , ppl woo ha over it, what is the point if they 're also good at insulting and being impatient to customers. If most ppl don 't share the same sentiment as me- I can only conclude that Lulu Cake Boutique is racist!
The three stars because the customer service was on point and for a beautiful cake design. However, the cake itself which is the most important item was so blah. The taste was bland, borderline bad. I ordered a cake for 35-40 people which was not cheap, but when I got the cake it was for 60 or more people which was way too much. We wouldn’t have minded it if it tasted good at least. They should rethink their sizing and prices with the sizes. Needless to say, I unfortunately will not be going back.
I used Lulu to create both my wedding cake and groom's cake for my May wedding. Our 4-tier wedding cake had a different flavor for each tier, and all of them were delicious. Being from Texas, I specifically requested red velvet as one of the flavors, and Lulu's version was incredibly tasty (a rare find in New York!). My husband's groom's cake was German chocolate, and he absolutely loved it. Both cakes were beautifully designed. I highly recommend Lulu for wedding cakes!
This is the nicest bakery that I have ever been to. We order from here for all of our events and most recently, our wedding. They made such a great cake for us and we all gobbled it up. The cake was ready on time and a real hit with our guests. Thanks.

Lulu's Cakes made a great cake for our manager who retired. We have ordered other cakes from here for other office functions and they always prepare a tasty cake for us. All of the flavor choices are delicious and the cakes are always well decorated.
The wedding cake we ordered from this place was flawless. Carmen crafted a stunning cake that truly represented us. We opted for the strawberry cheesecake flavor and it was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend Lulu's to everyone!
We got our wedding cake from here after my sister recommended them. They did such a great job on the cake and we loved it. It was so pretty and yummy and we got a bunch of compliments. This is our go to bakery from now on.

Our son turned four last month and we ordered him a Cooke Monster cake from here. It was so well made and very moist and tasty. He just loved it and so did his friends! Plus, we adults ejoyed it too. Great job!
