while this restaurant was not the authentic French cuisine we expected, this was one of the best dinners that my man and I had in the opposite. we made the tasting menu and were blown away from the quality, the detail, presentation, taste and the portion size of our courses. we were cured from the 4th, but could not stop because everyone was unbelievable. the chef was also very courteous of my food allergy and combine an amazing replacement. the ambiente was very quiet, simple, comfortable and casual. this is our new restaurant for special occasions and we will be back!
very disappointing. not on a French menu was eating very blandy and uninteresting and ridiculously expensive. we were willing to pay the prices for some good rich authentic French dishes, but after I lived in France, I was disappointed to find nothing that is recognizable as French on the menu and eating that we ordered was nothing special, either I cook better at home. make you like one and go for one of the Italian high-end restaurants in newton, this is not worth the effort:
Now, regarding dessert, we were informed we would be having chocolate mousse, but instead, we were served prosecco sorbet. While it was tasty, it wasn't what I expected and not something I would have chosen. This slightly put a damper on the meal, but I focused on the *absolutely delicious* dishes we had enjoyed earlier in the evening. We will definitely be back!
Amazing experience. The warm, inviting lighting and comfortable seating create a cozy atmosphere, and it's pleasantly quiet—ideal for a nice dinner with parents. While it's on the pricier side, the food is truly exceptional.
