Ok so Ive been to Lumpini a few times now and have always enjoyed the food but on my most recent visit I wasn’t all that happy with the food or customer service. I took my two daughters who had never been before so they could experience something different. We ordered our starters which were nice, we then ordered our main and the waitress came to our table 3 times to confirm what rice we wanted which was a bit disorganised I thought. We were really looking forward to our takeaway and were really disappointed. chicken Satay Was so dry, the corn fritters looked and tasted like they had been In the bottom of a deep fat fryer For a week. The Vegetables in the pad Thai were overcooked, soggy and smelled of farts, the pad Thai sauce was sickly sweet. The chicken in the green curry was so dry and the sauce seemed to be made with dairy cream rather than coconut milk, even the rice was terrible! Has the chef here ever been to Thailand? Just Horrible! A massive waste of £50.
I've lived in Dunstable for 5 years, and to be honest was never tempted to try Thai food here because i felt it couldn't live up the the restaurants in London. Tonight my girlfriend really fancied a Thai so gave it a shot. I would have settled for a 6 or 7 out of 10 being a takeaway but i really couldn't fault it. We had Green Prawn Curry, and Red Chicken Curry, with Jasmine rice and egg fried rice. Amazingly tasty food. We have a new favourite Thai restaurant! :
Doesn't appear much from the outside and very simple inside but wonderful service and food to match. They do great set menus which offer a great mix of food for reasonable prices but the dishes from the main menu are reasonably priced as well for Thai food. The service is authentic of Thailand, friendly, warm and efficient! The food is all very flavoursome and uses great fresh ingredients. Great all round.

We have just returned from this fabulous hotel, and are so impressed by the service! We had encountered a problem, not of the hotel's doing, and are humbled by the kindness of the General Manager and his Duty Manager. At this time of huge pressures on the hospitality industry, we cannot recommend this establishment enough! Many thanks.
We went for our anniversary meal after hearing such great reviews and we were very impressed! The staff can’t do enough for you, food is delicious and a great location. Would recommend to anyone either wanting to try Thai food or is looking for their new go to restaurant.
Fantastic food, brilliant service. Staff were so friendly and helpful, food was amazing. And the icing on the cake was the complementary after dinner mint and liquor of my choice. Would highly recommend this place and I will definitely return.
The food is absolutely delicious, so fresh and tasty. There's a great atmosphere and they really make an effort for parties. The friendly staff are always smiling and can't do enough for you. This is my favourite restaurant.

Very good but giving it a 4 bcos it is a bit pricy especially for a takeaway I have pad Thai and veg spring rolls which was £20 for one person very night though
Excellent food and at very affordable prices with decent portions as well. Will definitely come back here again if in the area.
