This was my fifth visit. Enough to have an informed opinion. The eating scene in Epalinges has been ok but lacking in certain quality. The gap is finally filled. This is a quality restaurant, in terms of service, ambiance and above all having a great chef. I have only tried the à la carte, which is slight more expensive than other local restaurants but way superior in terms of quality. There is a special very affordable lunch menu that I have not yet tried. Big terrace which is nice in the summer (but no view and next to Route de Berne unfortunately). For true connoisseurs of this establishment it is impossible to compare before which was a pub and now. However, the food was good but not out of the ordinary, the service not being attentive enough having to come back 3 times because the order was forgotten.
