We've been here a couple of times and always enjoy ourselves. I'm actually leaving this review not for the food, but because of the excellent service. Our server Ellie was exceptional. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor elevated the evening. The recommendations were spot-on, and the service was prompt. Our drinks stayed filled and the chips were flowing! Thank you Ellie! The food was a bit of a different story this time. I was disappointed in the fish tacos. The fish was overly firm and dry (seasoned nicely) and the whole taco itself was dry (meaning no pops of flavor, no sauce, etc) just disappointing. Food is awesome 99 of the time! But all of the “original waiters” from the beginning of this location are missing and the table service isn’t the same !! They knew the menu and most didn’t even have to write your order down. You never had to ASK for refills of chips , salsa , drinks or even having the correct order served . Sad to say , but that’s what made this location special!!

What an absolutely amazing experience. Jason was such a joy. He was friendly, professional, and pleasant. Our family included 7 with a small child and he was so quick to get us our every request with a smile on his face. Thank you for a great dining experience! Lupe Tortilla The Woodlands catered one of the very first weddings at Grand Pines Reserve and did an amazing job. Definitely a must for wedding Tex Mex!
