When you walk up the Carl-Haeberlin street from the sand wall, you will find the restaurant Lüttje Kök at the end of the street, which opens a small square with planted roses. After one or two stages you will enter a rustic but charming guest room, which also reminds a little of the good room of a former frizzy Kapitain family. The dark warm tone of the wooden tables and chairs also leads to a real cosiness and if you get a window, you will have a look at the small but vibrant Rosenplatz. On the walls we find maritime paintings and other small knicksnack. The menu of the Lüttje Kök is not very extensive, but what you find there, whether meat or fish dishes, is very good home cooking of art,...
We visited some good restaurants on Föhr, which is not part of it. The food is not recommended, salad tastes like out of the bag, the meat floats in the sauce. The best experience related to the operation. At the neighboring table a small child cried and after some time the male service went to the child and prompted it to stop in the loud tone immediately with the screaming, otherwise he would throw it out of the restaurant. So we don't go there voluntarily anymore.
we were there with another couple because this was recommended at tripadvisor and I must say it is not worth to go there. The food is by far not excellent. First I had a "Krabbensuppe" that was just comming out of the tin than I had a fish plate with different kind of fish and they all taste same. Also the ventilation is not very good and closes were smelling bad after we left the restaurant. I recomment to look for other places.
we have ordered swollen fish with lentil and our expectation is not fulfilled. no sauce and very dry and boring. our 19-month daughter was grumpy and I heard how the waiter shook us, so I was forced to eat and go out with my crying daughter. they would have at least tried to help me calm them down by giving a toy, but nothing, just unaccommodating look. Finally, I would also like to mention that they do not offer a valid return.

We ordered Schollenfisch with Lentil and did not meet our expectation. No sauce and very dry and boring. Our 19 month old daughter was grumpy and I heard the waiter shooing us so I was forced stop eating and go outside with my crying daughter. They could have at least tried to help me pacify her by giving a toy but no nothing, just unaccommodating look. Lastly, I want also to mention that they do not provide a valid reciept.
A very cozy, rustically designed place. The spaces are a little cramped. But this increases the cosiness factor. The food is very delicious. There is fish and also a lamb dish. As it is for a Frisian island. We had a crab soup as an appetizer and as the main course Labskaus and Scholle according to Büsumer Art. Very recommended! The prices are okay. The plaice costs about 25 €.
We have this place on 12. April 2011 randomly found in Wyk and did not regret to be there. The food was very tasty prepared, the price/performance ratio was right and we felt very comfortable in the small cooked restaurant. We are happy to come back at any time and can definitely recommend this place.
fabulous dinner with local speciality from the island. we have dinner with the children and can recommend this place very much! please don't forget to bring money as they don't accept credit cards.
