Luz Del Campano

After a visit to camp Nou,we were tired hungry and grumpy. We had wondered around the Area and nothing looked good. Eventually decided on this place not quite liking look from outside but by this point my son was grey with hunger. Food was great, we had lasagne steak and pizza. They never asked how the steak was robe done so I was a little scared-am a medium-it was more rare but was delicious. Add in a bottle of white wine at 13.5proof all in all a very good meal. This is a great example of when never to judge a book y it’s cover. The staff (one person) was very friendly and attentive. Overall a great wee find

Let me start with the good first. Friendly waiters, massive portion of Olives for the tapas, the place is nice. The bad: the food. We order 1 pizza and 2 pastas. All 3 were horrible. The pizza tasteless. The pastas tasted like the sauce came from a pre-made can from a cheap supermarket. By far the worst meal I had in 2017. Never again.

After attedning a Barca game, were looking for somewhere to eat that would cater for 16, came across Luz del Campano had a small room in the basement. Good for a group, was worried that the food might not be great. However, group enjoyed the pizza and pasta ordered.

Visited here twice whilst in Barcelona. Lovely food, loved the lasagne ! Highly recommend ! Reasonable price and quick service.

I had the chicken risotto, unfortunately it was very salty and the chicken was dry and tasteless as if it was frozen
