Lygon Charcoal Grill & Steakhouse Restaurant

This is for all of the protein junkies! My boyfriend took me here after hearing some ultra cool Serbians ran this joint. Man we were not disappointed...<br/ <br/ This meat platter was meant for 4, but we arrived with empty stomachs and big dreams... and so all that was left were a few sausages and perhaps a lone piece of beef.<br/ <br/ Huge selection on their menu, great for taking groups not to mention they have these ginormous crepes if you've got room for dessert after your mains...<br/ <br/ Oh and did I mention they do BYO wines? Sounds like a party to me.

Came here a month ago. Hidden gem! Tucked away at the top end of Lygon st, Carlton this place was recommended to me by a cousin. The steaks are simple, tender and tasty all at a reasonable price. The fillet mignon is highly recommended. Service is friendly, however sometimes left to wait a little longer than desired. My cousins had the rump steak medium and all say it was one of the best cuts of meats they have had in a while.

I recently had the best steak I've had in a long time. It was chargrilled to perfection and came with delicious vegetables on the side. It was clear that everything was cooked with care, and the T-bone steak I ordered was amazing. The service was friendly and polite, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I will definitely be returning to try out the other cuts of steak.

It’s been awhile since I been here .<br/ Steak was on our minds and nearly forgot about this little place hidden in Lygon street ..<br/ Great steak and entrees , service the best around and still run by same family ..<br/ 450grm Ribeye and still had room for the huge pancake for dessert ..<br/ Well worth the it all round ...<br/ Reserva una mesa ahora

Feast ya eyes on this Mixed Grill 'flam 'n nice ' especially the Cevapcici so scrumptious topped with fresh diced onions heaps of chilli flakes, together with potato cabbage salad and my favourite Shopska salad (it 's like a salsa but on a higher level), some grilled peppers some cold European Beer, can 't beat it

This restaurant serves the best chevapi in Australia, no question about it. They offer a great selection of sausages, steaks, and beer. Our group of five ordered the platter for 4, as recommended by the staff, and we left the restaurant feeling extremely satisfied. This place is excellent.

Oh my gosh... get down here for the chaveppi ASAP!This place can be unpredictable with regards to service and wait times for meals BUT the quality of what comes out of this kitchen is close to perfect every single time.This is one of THE BEST steak restaurants in Melbourne.

The blue roo was great, accompanied by a good house Shiraz. Staff was competent and professional and the ambience great. Chicken soup was fine, and the coffee tasted great. The place felt cold in the spring storms, a heater would have been great. Will be back. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is my favorite restaurant in Australia. It reminds me of home in Croatia, with some dishes even better than the original. The food and staff are exceptional, making it feel like a home away from home.

Seriously amazing food. Really impressed. Will 100% be back and I will make sure to bring friends and family! Cevapi was amazing, can always tell the meat is fresh when you see it as you walk in! Xx
