Lzaza Indo-pak Cuisine

When I was being guided there by Googlemaps, I thought there was an issue because I did not see the restaurant coming from the east side of Forrest Ave. It seemed like there was not going to be something at the address, but I was mistaken. Also, the restaurant is no longer 3/4 empty.On my first visit to Lzaza, I was welcomed by some of the friendliest and most attentive staff who I have experienced in the Des Moines Metro area, and in Iowa. I had no idea Lazaza reopened! I thought it went out of business last summer but I am glad to see it is back.What has improved: the interior looks much better with new coat of paint and lighting. The old look was definitely a tad sketchy. The food is still great and the chai is as good as it used to be.What has not improved: the price of lunch buffet has gone from 12.99 to 16.99. That is a pretty steep increase. The best thing about lazaza was that it had good lunch buffet at a great price. I know inflation hit everyone hard, but 30% increase is rough. I don't think I will be going here as often as I used to, since the price has gone up so much.Suggestions: Lazaza doesn't have a lot of onlin...

This place was AMAZING! My son and I were just in town for one day and I googled Indian Food near me and noticed their high score. If it was up to me they would have 10 stars. The place looks a little sketchy from the road but the full parking lot gave me comfort. As soon as the doors opened and the smell greeted us I knew we were in for a treat. We tried a little bit of everything and I have to say the chicken vindaloo might have been the best I’ve ever had. The spinach was also in the top 5 I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned with nice soft potatoes. They naan was also fantastic and came out so hot and fresh. Ten out of ten plus ten!!!

Legit cuisine by a family owned restaurant. Walked in and it was like being welcomed home, with delicious, fresh cooking. Fast service, faster friends. Got the chicken curry, meat was tender and falling off the bone, spices were on point, great flavor. Might have been the best chai I've ever had. Not from the area but can't wait to go back. So Delicious. My first time trying and i was not disapointed. Do the Buffet to get a variety. Everything fresh, comfort food at its best. I aint gonna hold ya, try it for yourself!

The buffet may be small, but it's really delightful. The food is packed with flavor, and the place is impeccably clean. I'm quite impressed!
