Macarena Tapas - Reserva de mesa

I was looking for a Spanish restaurant , I’m from Spain myself , live in Ohio and visit northern Chicago every year friends family . I was able to reserve for ten people , same day with John owner) , invited us and offer great food and goodies !!! You need to make reservations with a lot of people it’s small , cozy , European . Tapas are small plates we eat in Spain and and this restaurant presents them in beautiful ways and to perfection , my family and friends were very pleased . Thank you John and Victor for making our visit a special one !!! We will be back , con todo nuestro cariño , Besos!!!!

My daughter's and I were at Macarena on Saturday night, Dec 9th. Our server Angie, did an amazing job anticipating our needs. The space was a bit cramped, but the drinks, service, and amazing cuisine more than made the visit enjoyable. We shared several menu items and thoroughly loved them. The medallions were absolutely phenomenal! The scallops were succulent, and the dates, sweet, and perfectly prepared. This was our first visit. We will definitely be returning! Thanks to all of you for making our evening a night to remember!

We visited last night for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. They have an impressive sangria selection, and the food was fantastic. Our waiter was entertaining and offered excellent recommendations. The owner even came out several times to chat with the guests. For our meal, the croquettes and bacon-wrapped scallops were incredibly tender. The grilled mushrooms were packed with garlic, giving them a delightful spicy kick. Even with the torrential rain outside, we enjoyed a wonderful evening.

This is just a simple neighborhood restaurant with authentic tapas and great service. I wish we had a location in Oswego! Easy access with parking out front, small, intimate setting that's casual and pleasant and great variety of hot and cold tapas. We had bacon wrapped scallops that were tender and juicy, tender and flavorful lamb skewers with hummus, cod tacos that were tender and fresh. And... the red wine sangria- always a special treat. I had a wonderful experience at Macarena Tapas. The food is genuinely authentic and delicious, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend this place! The owner, Joan, is an outstanding chef who trained under one of the best in the industry.

The food, atmosphere, and staff are outstanding. The margaritas are beautifully presented, abundant, and taste fantastic. I absolutely love this place!

The restaurant is a little small but the food and service were great! Everything was amazing from the sangrias to the tapas. Full of flavor!
