Macedonia Restaurante

Excellent ambience, service, cazuela de mariscos and value for money. We are going to be regulars here. Very comfortable seating and linen tablecloths added to the upscale experience that is not the norm in Tunja. The set 3 course menu at C$ 35,000 looked amazing although we both chose the top a la carte choice of cazuela of seafood (revolución de las ruanas) that included shrimp, langostines, octopus and fish presented in a delicious caldo served with rice, salad and patacón. The owner offered us complementary dessert of the day and a coffee since (I assume) we bought a bottle of wine that was also very reasonably priced. We can't wait to go back

we stopped en Tunja, travelling to Villa de Leyva.a friend , born in Tunja and living in Bogotà, suggested to have lunch in Macedonia restaurantShe was really right!nice location, execellent service..and we all had fish! fresh and well cooked ..I had a really excellet "robalo grillado", friends a great "cazuela"price average, for Colombia..means...cheap

After searching hard for somewhere offering something different from the usual fried chicken and burgers it was great to find the Macedonia. The restaurant is well-run with excellent service and an interesting menu.

The menu is really nice. It's a restaurant attended for his owner so you have an excellent attention. The food is really good. And the prices are just perfect. Ask for the dish of the day.

Great service and amazingly delicious cuisine. The service is great, fresh juices made right in front of you and great atmosphere.
