I just paid 115 dollar for a filet, a wrap, an order of mozzarella sticks, an old fashioned and 2 dirty Shirley’s, which the staff was making fun of when I ordered the drink. First of all when I walked in the other server was hacking a lung over the bar, that put me off. To be fair the free bread was good; that’s where it ends. I was in the mood for a steak, the bigger filet which I ordered was tough and just about raw. I ordered medium. My girlfriend ordered the chicken ranch wrap which was almost uneditable. I ordered roast pork, sauerkraut, and dumplings to go. I got my salad. I did not get my soup. However they gave me an extra serving of sauerkraut. I don’t know if that breaks even but the salad was delicious with the croutons. The bread was still warm and the portion and the sizeof the roast pork is enough for four meals for me. It was moist and delicious as well as the dumplings with gravy. This is my third time here I just wish it wasn’t so far from my home.
Heather was an outstanding server! This restaurant/bar has outstanding cocktails including classic after dinner drinks like Brandy Ice served with a flaming sugar cube! They have great specials daily and the food is fantastic. Generous portions. Sides included. A large selection so there's something for everyone. From my understanding, the restaurant is closing on the 22nd. Today was my first time dining there, and I had a terrible time. My food was cold. As well as my grandmother's. Pork chops were dry and tasteless. I do apologize for the rudness of my comment, but just because a restaurant is closing doesn't not mean that the food that's being served should sub-par. It was an awesome experience and the food was great. Every one was so extremely kind to my granddaughter my daughter and my daughter’s boyfriend. The vicinity was clean and stylish. Our food was delicious and the service impeccable! Went there with my parents 50 years ago. I moved to the area a couple of years ago, and covid hit, I never got to go back.
