MacLeod's Restaurant

We don't live in Fort Macleod, but often go there just to go to Macleods, sometimes even skipping eating during a trip to Lethbridge just so we can stop at Macleods on the way home. We have never been disappointed in anything we ordered, everything is good. The prices are reasonable. And the service is always great, all the girls are friendly and chatty.They have the BEST fried pickles we've had anywhere! We haven't tried the pizza, so can't speak for it, but between the 4 of us have tried a great variety of other things on the menu since finding this gem a couple of years ago and not a single complaint about anything!

Having booked into our motel we asked where we could get good food. We were directed to Macleods and we weren't disappointed! Don't be put off by the look of the place. The service was excellent and the food was great too. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The mash and gravy were also very tasty. Staff were friendly and chatty and willing to offer thier personal advice about what to see and do int the area. The place was busy with locals too and clearly popular taking orders for collection over the phone. At the end of a long day site seeing we were suitably well fed and ready for our beds!

They sat us at a booth and got our drinks right of way, which is where the good service stopped. People that got seated 15-30mins after us got their orders placed before us. By time the waitress thought(remembered?) about us she stated that the computer was down so they had to write everything out. We had to get our food to go. I have no problems with tech glitches but do not use it as an excuse for forgetting about us. Got home, (we don't live in Fort Macleod), and the food was tasty so I have no problems with food and the menu is varied so that's a plus.

We chose to try Macleod's Restaurant due to its proximity to the function we were attending beforehand. We ended up being a group of 12-15 people. Our waitress did a solid job keeping up with the new people coming in to join our group. Although I didn't eat, the beer was cold and no complaints. I didn't like the booth setup as the tables seemed unusually high and the seats were low. We ended up moving to a bar height style table. The environment is nothing worth noting. Stopped here for lunch on our way down to Montana as it is right on the highway and just saw it passing by. I had the steak sandwich which was a pretty decent steak but the mashed potatoes were fantastic! My girlfriend had the chicken fingers and said they were really good. The biggest positive was we had a super friendly and upbeat waitress which was a treat. Unfortunately I don't remember her name but it always makes the dining experience better with friendly staff!!

Attention: we are in the city of ennis of mar, a cowboy of brokeback mountain, close to his apartment (which exists in real, at least outside). fans will enjoy. in this little restaurant, good hamburgers, good fries and good beers. with a smiling and friendly waitress and natives who come to drink a drink. We took a meal in the middle of the afternoon and the service was provided quickly. It's clean, easy to park nearby. a good plan worthy of being in the backpacker.

I went into this Macleod's Restaurant on 4/21/2017 and the waitress was not really helpful; and I tried to talk with the manager, even the manager was not really helpful. I find this restaurant really unprofessional not really good service and I would not recommend it to go into the Macleod's Restaurant.

Very good customer service. My cheese chicken sandwich was good and cruncgy. Dad liked his veal cutlet. Steak was ok. Poutine was delicious. Wife's ceasar salad was ok. Price was reasonable. My sweet potato fries with aioli sauce was excellent. Overall very good ambience and food! Reserva una mesa ahora

The menu was vast and the server was very polite too.We didnt want too much to eat as it was 3.30pm and we didnt want to ruin our dinner.The food was lovely, so much so, we decided to go back later that night. Would highly recommend a visit

Walked in looking for a cold beer. Sat down to a good meal. We both had burgers. Good value. Plenty on the plate and both tasted good. Washed down with a couple of pints.
