I want to love Macrina really I do. Sadly, I just can't get there. I keep going back thinking it will be better, but I may have to give up. Today, we stopped in and got an iced latte, an iced mocha, and a container of soup to go. The mocha came up right away, and we waited. After a while, the Bariste said the cold brew is yours. I told her we ordered a latte, she checked and said no, it was a cold brew, then grudgingly remade the coffee. The mocha was awful, it had gritty chunks of chocolate and maybe cinnamon in it. They came up the straw in big chunks, and the flavor was, well, unpleasant at best. The worst part ? We paid $27.00 for 2 drinks and a container of soup. I think I am done with...

My first time at this Macrina Bakery location and quite frankly it wasn’t the best experience. Pretty disappointed!1) Love the variety of gourmet baked goods and artisan breads they offer Look super fresh and delicious2) Ambiance of the cafe was bright and inviting3) As for the service, I’d say it is below average even though the place was pretty busy. The server who took our order lacked attentiveness and didn’t even bother to ask if we were dining in or taking out.3) We ordered:Buttermilk biscuit Soft, fluffy and deliciousGrilled cheese sandwich Soggy and Average tasting (I’ve had much better ones)Iced Vanilla latte Good ; Had a nice balance of sweetness and acidity
I want to own Macrina Bakery and Cafe, for real. No one walks in to this bakery and says, “That’s enough.” Well, maybe SuperWo/man. Not me, nor my family and friends.I actually prank friends and bring them to Macrina and then when the window shopping is over I say, “Just kidding. I don’t eat baked goods.” And I begin the long walk out with screams and cries behind me.I mean, what can you say about a business that is so good at creating a desire and then exceeding the fulfillment? So do yourself a favor and make the trip to Macrina Bakery and tell me I’m wrong. Everyone thanks me for this tip Go. There. Now.
It would be a 5 star but the service is only getting worse. Cleanliness l: Zero. Everyone tips 20% on $30 or $50 checks but they don 't clean the tables and they expect Us to bus our own tables. Friendliness: 5star but they use a number system on some tables and a name system on others. This makes it difficult for the servers to find you and the customers lose out in their food!!! (IVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS ANYWHERE) SERVICE: Again a Zero! Which I blame the management since the employees are nice. I was there on a slow AF Day. Reserva una mesa ahora
This restaurant is incredibly welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. There is plenty of seating available and a steady flow of customers, so even during busy times, the staff, including skilled baristas, are able to keep up. It's usually easy to find a seat or share a table with someone. In addition to indoor seating, there is also outdoor seating and a small parking lot. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey, but that's because they have an in-house bakery.
This neighborhood bakery is fantastic! They have beautiful and delicious handmade pastries and bread. The prices are a bit high, around $5-6 per item, but the quality is definitely worth it. We visited on a Sunday morning and it was busy, but we were able to order, pay, and receive our food within 10 minutes. The service and cleanliness were outstanding. Overall, a great experience!
Wow! I experienced the most amazing sesame bagel with chive cream cheese at this restaurant. The bagel was crispy on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside. The chive cream cheese spread was outstanding. I also enjoyed a delicious cappuccino and bought some of their year-round squash bread. Everything was top-notch and always perfect at this restaurant.
Excellent breakfast experience. I ordered the breakfast BLT. Next time, I will ask for burnt bacon, but it was delicious! Also ordered a Vanilla Latte, it was probably the best late I have had in recent memory. I'll be back again for sure. Reserva una mesa ahora
coffee is similar to McD, over priced breakfast biscuit, which crumbled into untouchable tiny pieces...
I’m sorry but this was just a terrible piece of pastry I feel like it was probably a month old.
