Mad Jacks Sports Cafe

Again, I wish Google had more fine-grained reviews. I should have given this place 3 1⁄2 stars. This is one of our Friday autumn / winter go to locations as the bar usually has seats available and the food is inoffensive. Last night was no exception. The bar was not terribly busy, but was loud because of a group of enthusiastic and apparently well lubricated young people. I remember the place that was much more lively when it was Benchwarmer Bobs. The restaurant is big, like the bar. Many seats. There is a beautiful private event room. The bar has many TVs, and is a good place to watch sports, not too surprising considering that this was once one of the top Vikings game day bars in the area....

I wish Google had more detailed ratings because I would give this restaurant 3 ½ stars. This is a go-to spot for us on Fridays during the fall and winter, as the bar usually has available seats and the food is generally good. Last night was no different. The bar wasn't very busy, but it was quite loud due to a group of lively and seemingly well-lubricated young people. I remember the place being much busier when it was Benchwarmer Bob's. The restaurant is spacious, as is the bar, with plenty of seating and a nice private event space. Come early. This is a good place to maybe 10 a.m., after which you need to know more about your environment. But I'm too old for late nights anyway. All this said, food is definitely about bar food, even salads. In fact, you Greek salad beats everything, but one I had in Greek Mediterranean places. Functional decoration, not too loud as too many other places. Good hangout after work.

The service was outstanding. I enjoyed the menu, which offers a variety of classic comfort foods. The outdoor patio with its own bar was really nice, and there are plenty of TVs to watch games. The restaurant also has a lovely dining area. Although the location isn't the best, it's definitely worth a visit. Reserva una mesa ahora

I was back for a while and was very unhappy with the place. I went to Happy Hour tonight and it's so different and great. The staff is very friendly and the food was super good. I was really impressed. I felt the property had changed. It's great again. Good work. I recommend this place now 100%.

The fish and chips were delicious. The service was excellent, with a young lady named D bringing our food, drinks, and a fun sense of humor. I must admit, I got so caught up in the enjoyable conversation that I didn't pay as much attention to the food as I should have.

The reviews do not accurately reflect our experience dining at this restaurant. We had lunch in the private dining room and all 15 of our orders were delivered.

When the dimly lit signs hint at the level of service to expect, it sets the right tone. As for the ambiance, they have created a unique, localized atmosphere. Reserva una mesa ahora

The fried pickles were delicious, and the tacos were quite substantial - almost too large, but I'd prefer that over them being too small.

Large flat bread and ingenious maize bread. Hashbrowns are great. I can't beat the $2 happy hour. Monster Breakfast Burrito is great.
