My boyfriend and I stopped in Petawawa after camping in Algonquin and were looking for something local and fresh. This was the perfect place. The staff were extremely friendly, explained the menu to us and gave great recommendations. The atmosphere altogether was inviting and clean. We ordered a beef and a chicken shawarma and a tabouleh salad. They did not disappoint. If we didn't live so far away, I would definitely visit Madameek at least once a week. The food was delicious and I would absolutely, 100% recommend this spot to anyone who visits or lives in Petawawa. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and the delicious meal!

The experience here is always amazing. I always have excellent food and a very fun time laughing and joking with the owners! Such a good vibe in this place.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies to choose from.Parking: 20+ parking front side and back of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: On a ground level and lots of space to get around.

Prices are great, the staff are phenomenal they have the best falafel I've ever had!The spicy sauce is the perfect balance of a tiny bit of heat with great flavour. I unfortunately can't have large amounts of garlic, so I had to skip the garlic sauce, but they were quick to offer a tahini sauce instead, which was delicious!

The food at this restaurant is excellent and prepared quickly. They also give you generous portions. I only had the chicken, but it was delicious. I recommend asking for extra pickles and beets. The service is good, but there is no option for dining in.

Delicious food! We’d give 6 stars if that option were available!Seasoning is super flavourful, beef shawarma has tasty chunks, and the kibbeh was probably the best we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely stop by again when we’re in town!

Excellent experience as always, one of my go-to places for a fresh meal. Maroon makes a perfect shawarma. Perfect ratio of sauce to toppings, perfect amount of spice, very little mess. 10/10
