We are a large family traveling as tourists and randomly searched for a bar/grill to dine at with our kids. The bucket of beers caught our attention! We were a bit worried it might be more of a bar than a grill, but when we arrived, the atmosphere, food, and drinks exceeded our expectations. I can be a bit picky, so this praise is genuine! We chose to sit outside, and they were happy to provide tables and chairs for us. The friendly community walking by, waving to my 3-year-old, made us feel right at home. I visited Madd Hatter Hoboken for my bachelorette dinner and had an incredible experience. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The owner even stopped by to introduce himself and generously offered us a free bottle and table service on our next visit. Our waitress, Giselle, was outstanding. First, the service was outstanding—Jordan was fantastic, answering all our questions, checking in on us regularly, and providing helpful explanations about the menu. As for the food, it was worth every penny! The portions were generous, and the quality was excellent. We've definitely found a new favorite spot in Hoboken. I would 100% recommend it.
