The first time here and woww. I was literally transported to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The whole mood was amazing and the service was also. The music was the old school new school reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue. The reason I gave this place 4 stars was because the food was not amazing, at least not what I ordered. I got the chicken trifingo, the garlic sauce was absolutely delicious, but the actually trifongo was so sweet, obviously it was done with the plátano maduro. I didn't taste the Yucca either. My children order the fried pork pubs and while they say it was delicious, it was so hard that they could hardly bite through them, maybe they go to the grilled pork pub next time. The host, security, and even the restaurant owner all showed very poor customer service. It was our first time dining here, and we were really excited, but that excitement quickly faded because of how we were greeted and treated. The owner had a bad attitude when we brought up an issue with a minor’s ID, which was very unprofessional. He responded with attitude in front of other customers instead of remaining calm and composed. Additionally, the food quality was disappointing. The dishes sounded great on the menu, but I couldn’t even finish mine. The rice was dry and hard, and the steak with onions didn’t taste fresh. I had a great time at this restaurant. The prices for both drinks and food are reasonable. The music was good, the decor was unique, and they had a great selection of signature drinks and classic cocktails. We tried a variety of Mojitos, including classic, tamarind, passion fruit, and coconut, all of which were strong and delicious. We also ordered a mofongo and a Cuban sandwich, and were pleasantly surprised by how generously filled the sandwich was. The Pernil in the sandwich was juicy and tasty. Overall, I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Just be aware that the seats tend to fill up quickly.
At Made In Puerto Rico Lounge, the bartenders May and Sue were absolutely amazing during my brunch experience. I enjoyed steak and eggs along with unlimited mimosas, which I ended up taking home with me. The music was fantastic, and even though the place was crowded, the host suggested I sit at the bar instead of waiting for a table, which had a long wait time. I nearly left, but the bartender encouraged me to stay. The menu offered great choices, making it a delightful visit overall.

Made a last minute decision to come here for dinner on a Saturday night. Glad that we did....the food was really good!! Nice ambiance.....there was a DJ playing music but we could still hear each other speaking. Post-covid, so it wasn't overly crowded but a decent amount of ppl.....no one was seated outdoors even though the weather did allow for it. Very large portions of food served....enough to share still have leftovers for the following day. Would recommend going here!!
We had a great time at this restaurant. It was a nice place to have lunch with a friend. It wasn't too crowded since we reserved an early time. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food we had was delicious. The music wasn't too loud, which was perfect for having a conversation. The decor was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Very nice place in the South Bronx. Food was very nice and the drinks packed a punch. I read somewhere that someone mentioned that the music was too loud...take notice Mi Gente: it's a Bar Lounge that offers dining for a couple of hours at a punch...so enjoy!!!???????
Delicious food! The atmosphere inside was very energetic and lively with lots of dance. We were sitting outside. My friend forgot her phone and they were very helpful to send it back, thank you for your help.

I am grateful that my daughter Jaynittza and I had a wonderful birthday celebration at Made in Puerto Rico. The atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. I highly recommend the delicious food!
My fiancé and I enjoyed ourselves we would definitely go again, the people who work there are so welcoming and sweet. The food and drinks were just amazing!
