We've been visiting this bar for almost 35 years. Yesterday, I stopped in with my wife for a couple of glasses of wine. Since there were no seats at the bar, we took a table instead, and there were no other tables occupied. It took quite a long time for us to receive our wine and the check from the female bartender, who seemed more focused on chatting with the 11 guys at the bar. The service was disappointing and felt lazy. I certainly wouldn't accept this kind of service again.
This charming, family-owned bar and grill offers delicious homemade food! There's ample seating available. I visited in the mid-afternoon for the second day of their annual Oktoberfest and had a fantastic experience! The menu featured homemade sausage, a mouthwatering half chicken, two types of potato salad (hot and chilled), potato cakes, soft pretzels, strudels, and, of course, a selection of German beers. I also met up with some friends there, and we all had a wonderful time!
I've been a regular at this bar for as long as I've been drinking, and I've always had a great experience. It's a local spot where most patrons know each other, but we definitely welcome newcomers at any time. They offer an outstanding menu at affordable prices, but it's only available during lunch and dinner hours from Monday to Friday.
This is an excellent spot to socialize over drinks or enjoy a meal. The ambiance is fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff, as well as a great crowd. The outdoor area is a delightful addition. Wow! I visited this restaurant one night and it had such a calming and soothing atmosphere. It was great to reconnect with some of my closest friends. That night happened to be Christmas Eve. As soon as I walked in, I took a shot and exclaimed, "I'm feeling as high as three people on pills!"
