We got to the restaurant and the young lady first advised us we were at the wrong place, she told us that we had come to Southall Road and not South Road, She was incorrect anyway after sorting that out she said we had no booking even though I had an email confirmation. She then told us it was ok as they had spare tables. We have historically come here a lot and the staff are normally great. but have to say the staff did not have a clue and made the experience a little poor. Service and ambiance far nicer than many Indian restaurants. We were given complementary dessert which was much appreciated. Unfortunately the food was distinctly average. We have had tasters before from Madhus at a separate event and really enjoyed it, this didn't seem to be the same chefs. It left us with a very bad stomach the next day

One of my favourites although much prefer the old menu. However being regulars then the chefs will make us some of the classic dishes we have enjoyed over the years
Price hike is a negative. They are probably getting too expensive to be a regular experience nowadays
