I am unable to rate the food at this restaurant because we chose to leave after 20 minutes of being ignored. I realize that the restaurant was very busy, and we were able to be seated right away, but after the waiter brought our water, we did not see him ever again. Actually I could see him in the distance waiting on other tables, but he must have forgotten to come back to us! Apparently our table was in an area that he does not normally serve. During the 20 minutes we waited, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt -- but it soon became clear it was to no avail. We were 4 people and all though overall our evening was good there were some issues with the food which resulted in my lower rating. The decor and service was quite good a usual for a Madison but 2 of the people in our party ordered burgers which when brought to our table were stone cold. The other ordered dishes was salmon and a steak so we assumed the burgers were ready way sooner then the others since it obviously takes longer to make salmon and steak but this shouldn't happen at the price point Madison is. I went to this restaurant many times, but tonight, it was a big deception. Ordered a salmon tartar, no taste to it. The rusks served with it seemed to have been on the counter for a day or two, the where hard and full of humidity at the same time. As per the chicken and avocado salad that my friend took, the portion was a lot smaller than it use to be, the salad was old and not fresh, they took out the parmesan bread they use to put on the salad, all that for the same price. Very deceiving, I don't think all go there again :(

We have been to this restaurant many times before, for lunch and dinner. If you want to meet with friends in the West Island, and want to have a nice meal with great service, this is the place to go. The waiter was fantastic, catering to our needs (he opened the outdoor heater for us, when we told him it was quite chilly, out on the terrasse - it kept us warm the entire evening).
I love this restaurant. Always friendly staff, incredible food. Disagree with those who say the food is too pricy. It costs exactly what it's worth; and the food is absolutely fantastic. If you're around the west island and looking for good food and a good time...this is the place to go!
Wait staff very polite and pleasant but a little slow (I'd blame the kitchen, not the waiter). Food ranged from mediocre to quite good, but waaaaay overpriced for the portions.
Food here is very good but the service is painfully slow. Don't go if you're in any kind of time crunch. Good for family or friends, adults and children alike.

We went for our office holiday lunch. The food and service were great. The servers were efficient and friendly.
We had the Madison's cheese burger and the Manhattan burger. It was delicious ! With a great service !
