Best nachos you can get! I've had nachos from many a place and have never enjoyed them enough to even consider myself fond of nachos. That is, until my best friend Ivan Maximovsky recommended Madisons nachos. After first trying them with him, I've come to love nachos, but only from this specific Madisons. The trick is with the cheese. Firstly, they aren't stingy with the cheese, that's respect. Secondly, it's not overcooked, leaving it perfectly soft, warm, and gooey as you'd desire. I visited this restaurant for a family celebration. Honestly, it’s not my top choice for dining, but I was impressed by how well the staff handled a somewhat chaotic event with people moving around. My meal, a club sandwich with fries, was decent, and the fries were definitely the highlight. However, others in my group who ordered more expensive dishes found their meals to be lackluster—one had bland salmon tartare, another an overcooked steak, and someone else a bacon cheeseburger. It was our second choice, but ended up the best choice. The wait for the food was long, but it was Jan 1st. Probably busy in the kitchen.Ordered the rare Filet Mignon. It 's not often the cooks can get that right, but this one was excellent. Just like My Daddy the 'Chef ' used to make it. Perfectly rare and still a good temp. Great fries too. An all over great meal. Be back.
Our service was slow to start, but once we ordered our food, it didn't take long for our food to come out. The Grilled Soho Chicken breast was really good. The mix of bell pepper, zucchini and goat cheese on top was excellent!
