Madvek's Dog House

Been going here since high school. Fries and hotdogs are amazing, I was skeptical about the loose meat burgers but they're delicious as well. Simple, affordable, and service is fast and friendly. Has a really awesome old school feel/experience.

Only place in NW Indiana (which I know) that serves the legendary loose meat or Maid Rite Sandwiches! Ketchup, mustard and onion is all it needs. Absolutely delicious! Stay so perfect!

My wife lived in Hammond and any chance I visit Hammond from Chicago I make sure I stop at this great place.
