First night in Amarosa, Chafe; needed food. It's late, I'm celiac, hungry and don't speak Portuguese. Amarando, the manager, immediately helpful, intervenes and speaks to the chef. Wonderful portions of food follow. Fabulous range of starters keep coming. Fish choices, steak, chicken, all cooked beautifully. Wine suggestion excellent to compliment the food. Great atmosphere, lots of families and groups eating together. And the bill? So low, compared to our expectations, was very, very reasonable. We came back again two nights later and again, were not disappointed. Great place, lovely staff.
If I could give this place more stars I would. I was in Portugal for a month and was at this place everyday. The atmosphere is amazing and all of the people working. There are great and super nice. The food was always good at always came out super fast. The staff was very helpful when deciding what to buy. And they have a great huge outdoor patio, which is great for late night drinks with family and friends.
Mais uma vez neste restaurante... o meu marido comeu uma lasanha divinal... ja comeu no Dona Maria no Villa Medici e esta para ele foi a melhor... vai repetir... e recomendo vivamente para quem vier aqui no Carvoeiro, este excelente restaurante... . Reserva una mesa ahora
