The food was great! In the beginning, I thought it was too much, but it was worth it. Also the kind of dressing with the tealights and the bowls I found very beautiful. Unfortunately, my sister was initially serving something wrong, but something like that happens. It's true there are not lots of Indian restaurants in Ansbach, but you don't need another one different from Maharaja. Within this resutaurant, you can enjoy the real Indian environment due to the fact that both the waiters and the food are from India. Really...good value for money.
Had a very tasty meal consisting of pappadums as entrance lentil soup lamb dish mango yoghurt drink all for euros only! Staff was friendly and the food was brought quickly. Only after the main dish I had to wait somewhat...long, maybe because the waiters switched roles.

Indian food at its finest!!! You cannot get better than Maharaja. The owner is so sweet and makes you feel like family and so welcome. It is a regular stop and one we will bring everyone that visits us to eat!!
The food is good. The people are very nice. They have the best NaaN I have had anywhere in Germany. Their menu is huge and there is a lot to choose from. English speaking and very hospitable staff.
