Mahé - Reserva de mesa

One of my favorite Seal Beach restaurants. We brought our house guests tonight for their last meal before flying home. Wanted some place with lots of options, great ambiance and good cocktails. Nailed it! We started with some sushi before ordering our main meals. The Queen roll was delicious. I love the soy paper versus seaweed! The sashimi was also tasty. For my meal I god the ahi with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. I wish it wasn’t the fat asparagus. I like the thinner ones best. Hubby got the blackened swordfish. Excellent sushi and other seafood. Maybe a bit Tuna centric but really worth trying other choices on the menu. Create a main with multiple sashimi starters or mix from a long list. Ousters “Mahé” stile are excellent and worthy of being tried. One of the rare places you can find cult followings worthy Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc that complements the seafood perfectly.

I would have never imagined! Not a great looking place but boy! The food was great! I had filet mignon sushi roll, crab and crab nachos that blew my mind! The taste was just AMAZING! The service by the sou chefs was great!!!! I would definitely go back for the sushi roll cuts!

Everything about this place is mediocre. The food was fine, nothing great. The best part was the bar in the back and the drinks. The service was soso. It came and went throughout the night. The prices are high for the quality Reserva una mesa ahora

Perfect place to have a wonderful dinner! The service was efficient and friendly, the food was fresh, substantial, robust and competitively priced, and the atmosphere was cozy, clean and trendy. We are definitely going back!
