We had thought to return to one of our favourite restaurants (see previous review!) when passing last week, and were amazed to find that it had changed owners and menu ... to its detriment for us sadly. Not that the welcome was not as good, and the food of itself was fine - somewhat more usual French fare but with some nice touches, making it stand out perhaps from the usual run of French midi offerings. Well priced, bur not the excellent experience we had before. It was popular enough on the Wednesday lunchtime in mid-winter, but our expectations having been dashed, we find ourselves unable to enjoy it quite as much. We noticed the restaurant on a daytime visit to Montblanc and made a note to go back and visit as it looked lovely, with a very attractive garden area. We returned on a midweek evening at 7pm, very early for France! However we immediately greeted with warmth and shown to a table in an otherwise empty restaurant. Our aperitifs were accompanied by lovely amuse bouche, and the chef came out personally to apologise for a slight delay in serving our main meal as he was still prepping! We didn't have to wait long for the food which was excellent and accompanied by great, friendly service. il est très agréable de manger dans ce petit restaurant pour son cadre a notre arriver le chef de cuisine nous demander d être conciliant avec l attente jusque la pas de problème mais alors une serveuse plus que médiocre pas de professionnalisme quel dommage le chef cuistot nous a pris la commande nous a servi a cuisiner pendant que la serveuse papillonne nous somme certain que le chef vos le détour mais que la qualité c'est ressenti dans l assiette la faute a la serveuse bien sur car il ne peut pas tout faire nous retenteront notre change dans ce petit resto mais en espèrent que vous trouverez a votre hauteur.
This is a restaurant which has recently changed hands and given a new name. Set in a lovely walled garden with the sounds of running water coming from water features. The menu has a good variety of dishes. We had the Lunch Formule with 2 choices for each of three courses 17 Euros. The service was efficient and the waiter charming. The Patron came to talk with us he is keen to get his new business recognised, very friendly with good English if needed. Montblanc is a small town surrounded by vineyards. He certainly deserves to succeed.
Habitant Montblanc, j'ai eu l'occasion de manger plusieurs fois dans ce restaurant et je n'ai jamais été déçue - encore dernièrement, nous avons partagé entre amis un EXCELLENT REPAS - nous y avons apprécié l'accueil, la mise de table, le décors, la cuisine fine et élaborée et la propriétaire tellement aimable et attentionnée : que demander de plus ?
Bitte unter dem Restaurant mit Namen "Binôme" an gleicher Adresse sehen!Die neuen Inhaber von "Binôme" scheinen verärgert zu sein, da ihr Restaurant immer noch unter dem alten Namen "Mahi Mahi" geführt wird.Auf jeden Fall lohnt sich der Besuch in das Restaurant "Binôme!. Hier sind die Speisen vorzüglich. Ja, hier fühlt man sich wohl!
